This theoretical grounding will allow participants to gain a deeper understanding of the background and benefits of Ayurvedic practices. They will then have the opportunity to witness practical demonstrations of different kinds of Ayurvedic massages. They will learn how to choose the right oil for each specific problem and will also be shown a demonstration of herbal balls massage, also known as kizhi. The preparation of kizhi will also be included in the demonstration. Furthermore, participants will get hands-on experience with Ayurvedic therapies. They will learn about different therapy techniques and will have the chance to practice them. One of the highlights of the workshop is the learning of Ayurvedic treatment shirodhara, a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating therapy. By the end of the workshop, participants will have acquired the skills to perform massages and other treatments like an Ayurvedic therapist. While they may not be professionals, they will be able to practice on their family members and improve their experience. The total course fee for the two-day workshop is between 70,000 to 90,000 ft.
