Swedanam (Herbal steam bath )
During the treatment, the patient sits or lies in a wooden barrel or box, with the head always remaining outside. Herbal vapor, made from a special decoction of Ayurvedic herbs, is released into the chamber according to the patient’s needs. This herbal steam bath has a beneficial effect on the body and overall well-being.
Bashpa Sweda is widely used in Ayurveda as a standalone procedure or in combination with massages or other medical treatments. Rice bolus massage
Njavarakizhi or rice bolus massage, also known as shashtika shali pinda swedam, is a traditional Ayurvedic treatment that involves the use of a special type of rice called Njavara. Nasyam
